New international students at Gdańsk Tech

Welcome Meeting
Over 100 international students from 21 countries started their studies at Gdańsk University of Technology in the summer semester of 2022/2023. Everyone had the opportunity to attend the Welcome Meeting - an information meeting organized by the International Relations Office.

As a result of this year's admission, more than 100 international students from 21 countries were admitted to studies conducted in English or Polish, including, among others, students from France, but also Turkey, Mexico and Palestine.

International Relations Office invites students of Gdańsk University of Technology to participate in seminars on coping with stressful situations organized as part of the "Hey, are you OK?" project. Registration for meetings lasts until March 27th. The number of places is limited.

In mid-September 2022, the "Hey, are you OK?" project was launched at Gdańsk University of Technology. The main goal of it is to support the emotional health of students and employees. The activities are coordinated by Gdańsk Tech International Relations Office.

How does the Dutch government support universities in promoting the emotional health of students? What wellbeing initiatives are undertaken by students themselves? These and many other questions were asked by the International Relations Office during the study visit in Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam on 7-9 February.

In mid-September 2022, the International Relations Office at Gdańsk University of Technology launched a project named „Hey, are you ok?”. The main objective of the project is to support the emotional health of students and staff. The tasks within the project include study visits at European universities that offer wellbeing programs.

EUA-IEP follow-up evaluation process at Gdańsk University of Technology

Gdańsk University of Technology once again expressed its willingness to confirm its competences within the framework of 'European University Association - Institutional Evaluation Programme' (EUA-IEP).

In September 2018, Gdańsk University of Technology received the right to use the EUA-IEP distinction. After 5 years, we applied for follow-up evaluation. A self-evaluation report has been prepared, and on March 20-24, 2023, the IEP team will visit Gdańsk University of Technology.
