Rector's hours on May 17 and 24

Gdańsk Tech
On 17 and 24 May, rector's hours shall apply at Gdańsk University of Technology, free from teaching classes.
  • 17 May - there will be no teaching classes from 4 p.m. due to the beginning of Juwenalia (student carnival).
  • 24 May - on the occasion of the Baltic Science Festival, rector's hours shall apply between: 9.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m.

Young scientists from Gdańsk Tech with scholarships from the Foundation for Polish Science

Scientists from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics of Gdańsk University of Technology are among the 100 winners of the 32nd edition of the competition in the START scholarship program of the Foundation for Polish Science.

The elite group of scholarship holders of the START FNP program includes the following scientists from Gdańsk University of Technology: Erwin Wojtczak, PhD, Eng., from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (field: construction), Jan Alfuth, PhD, Eng., and Szymon Dudziak, MSc, Eng., from the Faculty of Chemistry (materials engineering) and Bartosz Kamecki, PhD, Eng., and Krystian Lankauf, MSc, Eng., from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics (materials engineering).

International Erasmus Staff Training Week at the Gdańsk Tech Library - Celebrating the 120th anniversary of the Gdańsk University of Technology Library / Cultural heritage and future challenges of academic libraries

International Erasmus Staff Training Week at the Gdańsk University of Technology Library will take palce on 20-24 May, 2024. The Gdańsk University of Technology Library has been organizing Erasmus staff weeks since 2018. This year’s edition is special due to the fact that the Gdańsk University of Technology celebrates the 120th anniversary of its founding. The training is aimed at academic librarians from Erasmus+ Program Countries and Erasmus Partner Countries.
