From now on, you can submit an application to live in a Student Dormitory during the Summer Campaign. We would like to remind you that the deadline for submitting applications is May 13, 2024.

NAWA scholarships for the best doctoral students carrying out doctoral projects in international cooperation

We would like to inform you about the start of a scholarship campaign for the best doctoral students of our Doctoral School carrying out doctoral projects in international cooperation.

NAWA scholarships (max. 20 scholarships)  will be funded by the project „Gdańsk Tech Doctoral School closer to Europe” (project/contract number: BPI/STE/2023/1/00018/DEC/01; task internal number: 037162, acronym: "PG_go_West", hereafter: the Project), co-financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the Programme “STER - Internationalisation of Doctoral Schools”.

Raises for employees of Gdańsk University of Technology

On Monday, 29 April 2024, the bursar's office of Gdańsk University of Technology transferred the sums of pay rises to the accounts of employees of Gdańsk University of Technology.

As a result of arrangements between the university authorities and representatives of trade unions operating at Gdańsk University of Technology, a compromise was reached regarding the method of dividing the ministerial budget for raises for employees of public universities, which was sent to Gdańsk University of Technology (approximately PLN 91 million). Ultimately, the proposal of the university authorities was accepted by one of the two trade unions - i.e.

We would like to inform you that the Announcement of the Vice-Rector for the Student Affairs on the assigning places in dormitories has been published.

Update 21.06: Submission of applications will be possible through a dedicated online form, which will be activated on 24.06 (Monday), at 8:00 am, and will be active until 10.07, by the end of the day.

Results of the call for the 4th edition of ARGENTUM Triggering Research Grants

The ARGENTUM Triggering Research Grants program, aims to support young scientists in the implementation of valuable research in various scientific fields.

This year, the competition attracted a lot of interest, and the level of applications submitted was exceptionally high, which testifies to the growing potential and creativity of scientists. 

The 4th edition awarded grants to projects that show potential in solving current problems in key environmental, social and economic areas.
