Santander Award for students and doctoral students of Gdańsk University of Technology
Once again, Gdańsk University of Technology, together with Santander Bank Polska, has prepared a competition. For the first time, doctoral students of the Doctoral School and Industrial Doctoral School are also invited to participate.
The awards are a distinction and a form of financial support for students and doctoral students of Gdańsk University of Technology for their individual achievements.

We will award 30 prizes in the amount of PLN 2000 gross, including 5 prizes for doctoral students and 5 for students of the 1st year of first-cycle studies.

Registration for mindfulness classes for the English-speaking group will last from 13 to 31 March. To sign up for classes, you need to fill out a short online form (the number of places is limited).
After thesis defense? Report it!
The obligation to notify the university results directly from the provisions of the Law on Higher Education and Science.
It is enough if the student who defended the thesis notifies the Scholarship Committee via e-mail.
You should also notify the SC when the defence concerns a different field of study than the one in which the benefits are collected, and above all, if it concerns a field of study at another university.
On early-stage researchers and barriers they encounter at Gdańsk Tech
In the February-March Gdańsk Tech Journal No. 1 (262), 2023 (Pismo PG), a short article presenting the Team for monitoring the conditions for development and research conducted by early-stage researchers was published. Members of the team act on behalf of over 900 early-stage researchers at our university.

About the workshops
The mediation workshop will be conducted by Magdalena Grabarczyk-Bródka from Gdańsk Mediation Centre. During the classes we will talk about what mediation is, what are its rules, who is a mediator and about the how and when to use mediation (also in situations taking place at the university).

Scholarships for the new students - apply now
Applications for scholarships may be submitted by foreigners newly enrolled for II cycle studies on a tuition fee payment basis, according to Annexe to the Rector's Circular Letter No. 63/2020 of 10 December 2020.
The best three master students will receive a monthly scholarship in the amount of PLN 1250. The scholarship may be extended to the next academic year only after passing all the exams in due time.
