We would like to inform that the IDUB Office will be closed on May 2, 2023.
We would like to remind you that doctoral students at doctoral schools may not be employed as academic teachers or research staff. This prohibition includes a contract of employment, a contract of mandate, a contract to perform a specific task, as well as the provision of services on this account as part of a business activity.
Violation of this prohibition is a prerequisite for the removal of a doctoral student from the list of doctoral students.
We would like to remind you that Polish/EU/EFTA doctoral students are subject to compulsory health insurance, if they are not subject to such insurance on any other account (this is explained in the article on our website linked above), on the basis of the PhD student's statement and ZUS ZUA declaration submitted to the School Office during registration for the first year.
In 2022, Gdańsk University of Technology joined the ENHANCE Alliance - an association of 10 European technical universities. The first edition of Science Speed Dating FarU took place from 17 to 19 April. The event took the form of short, thematic meetings, during which a series of three-minute conversations between the participants took place. The goal is to intensify the inter-university and interdisciplinary cooperation of three universities - the University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology and the Medical University of Gdańsk, forming the Fahrenheit Universities.
The latest promotional film about Gdańsk University of Technology is a combination of several very innovative ways of filming, e.g. Hyperlapse technique, which gives the impression of flying through rooms in accelerated time and allows you to get the effect of teleporting the characters visible in the frame.
The aim of the competition was to present the project "MOVABLE HOUSE - House of the Modern Nomad" - adapting an existing vehicle into a moving house or building it from scratch using chassis for building on offered by automotive companies.
The works of the authors from Gdańsk University of Technology were created as part of an elective course in the fifth semester of studies under the supervision of Karolina Zielińska-Dąbkowska, PhD, Eng., Arch and Marek Gawdzik, PhD, Eng., Arch.
