Step 5 of 7. Formal and content-related assessment.

After the admission system closes, your application is proceeded for evaluation.

Important: This process requires time and precision. Please be patient and check your e-mail inbox regularly (including the SPAM folder) as well as your account in the admission system where you will find information about the status of your application there: accepted, rejected, or requiring correction.

Step 4 of 7. Submission of application and documents.

The list below is for reference purposes only. Detailed requirements, admission schedules, and legal bases are published in the Admission Rules and the Admission Announcement. Remember to read them before submitting your application.

Rules and deadlines for submitting documents

Submit the application along with a complete set of documents (scans) only electronically via the University’s admission system. Remember to meet the deadlines for sending any inquiries and making any corrections.

Step 3 of 7. Payment of the admission fee.

Participation in the admission requires payment of a one-off, non-refundable admission fee. You pay the fee to an individual account, which you will find in the system after registration. The  admission fee is PLN 300, and any overpayments are not refunded.

You can use one of three payment options:
  1. ePayments (Fastest option) – Use the service for immediate online payments. Remember that the service operator may add an additional commission.

Step 2 of 7. Account registration in the Gdańsk Tech admission system (eRecruitment).

After arrangements with your supervisor, register in the University's admission system.

eRecruitment

In the eRecruitment interface, you will find hints that will guide you to the right path. Pay attention to these two elements:
  1. The proper School: Make sure you select the Doctoral School, not the Industrial Doctoral School (this is a separate unit with different admission rules).

Step 1 of 7. Before registration-selection of a prospective PhD Supervisor.

Before you register in the University's admission system (eRecruitment), you must find your future supervisor in the discipline in which you want to prepare your doctoral dissertation. The Doctoral School does not mediate in this process.

Important: Contact your chosen supervisor well in advance. A prospective supervisor needs time to talk to you and familiarize themselves with your research plans before signing the required documents.
