The Library of Gdańsk University of Technology is one of the leading academic libraries in Poland. It actively takes part in the work of the Conference of Directors of Academic Libraries of Polish Universities. This cooperation includes several important areas:
The Association of University Libraries
The Association of University Libraries was founded in 2024 in response to the growing need for integration and representation of the academic library community. The Gdańsk University of Technology Library was one of its founders.
Pomeranian Digital Library
The Pomeranian Digital Library (PBC) is a regional digital platform that collects and provides access to scientific and educational resources as well as the cultural heritage of Pomerania. It was established in 2009 on the initiative of Gdańsk University of Technology, which acts as the project leader.
Gdynia City Museum
The Museum of the City of Gdynia is a cultural institution that documents and promotes the history and heritage of Gdynia, with particular emphasis on its dynamic development in the 20th century. Its collection includes unique photographs, documents, maps, and artifacts related to the city.
The Main Library of the Gdynia Maritime University
The Main Library of the Gdynia Maritime University is a modern scientific and educational institution supporting the research and educational activities of the Maritime University.
The Fahrenheit Union of Universities
The libraries of the Fahrenheit University Association (FarU), comprising the University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology, and Gdańsk Medical University, work closely together to offer shared access to resources.
