Delivery of the decision resumed this evening. The process may continue until the end of the week. Thank you for your understanding.

Dear Students,

We would like to inform you that due to temporary technical difficulties in Moja PG system, the delivery process of decisions regarding the rector's scholarship has been extended. Therefore, decisions will not be delivered before the Christmas break. We plan to resume delivery immediately after the issue is resolved, most likely after January 8, 2026.

If you are unable to participate in classes according to the standard schedule due to health conditions (supported by medical documentation) and/or if you hold a disability certificate, you are eligible to apply for an IPS in accordance with the Study Regulations.

Artificial intelligence increasing the chances of early detection of brain aneurysms

Intracranial aneurysms may not cause any symptoms for years, and their rupture often has dramatic consequences – up to half of patients die, and many have permanent neurological problems. A team of scientists from the Gdańsk University of Technology, the Medical University of Gdańsk and the University Clinical Centre in Gdańsk is working on a solution that could radically increase the chances of detecting the threat before an aneurysm ruptures and haemorrhages. Artificial intelligence analysing clinical data plays a key role here.

Data instead of scalpels – a paradigm shift in diagnostics

The project aims to create a tool that will enable the risk of aneurysm and its rupture to be assessed on the basis of laboratory data, medical history and descriptions from medical records.
