Education is free of charge for Polish citizens. It may be different for foreign students, depending on your status. If you need extra financing, there is a quite popular solution – special student loans offered by banks selected by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

It is very common that once you decide to enter the work force you may have no idea what you want to do with your career.

Do everyday matters overwhelm you, and problems take on disproportionate dimensions, you feel stress or prolonged states of sadness, you are tormented by a sense of emptiness, do you have fits of aggression, suicidal thoughts?

The Gdańsk University of Technology has twelve dormitories located in three housing estates:

• DS1, DS2, DS3, DS4, DS12 - Traugutt's estate;
• DS5, DS6, DS7, DS8, DS9, DS10 - Wyspiański housing estate;
• DS11 - Brzezno.

If you want to:

A candidate applying for confirmation of learning outcomes shall submit an application to the dean of the relevant faculty via the dean's office.

Application deadlines:

• until March 31 - in the case of applying for admission to studies in the winter semester
• until October 31 - in the case of applying for admission to studies in the summer semester

Foreigners studying full time studies with Polish as medium of instruction are exempted to pay tuition fee on the basis of following legal stay purpose in Poland:

Electronic Student ID cards have replaced paper ones. One plastic card plays the role of three documents:

• a traditional student ID card, 
• a library card with access to the libraries of the Tri-City universities
• and a city card thats serves as a ticket for public transport.

The Electronic Student ID is a plastic card with a built-in contactless microchip. It includes an owner’s image and personal data, the document validity date and a visible record of student’s rights to allowances confirmed by a small hologram.

Dean's Office is an administration unit of the Faculty responsible for carrying out organizational atters along with the course of studies. It is a unit that provides didactic procedures, including answering students and graduates of the Faculty.
