Polish Language Course for International Doctoral Students (March 3)

The first organizational meeting for the Polish Language Course will take place on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in Room 311, Building B.

The course is open to international doctoral students and Erasmus students interested in learning Polish. Since participants come from various departments, the meeting will serve to determine a schedule that is convenient for most attendees.

Registration for the course will be possible during the meeting.

PhD students who wish to continue their Polish course are also encouraged to attend the meeting.

Call for applications in the Actinium Supporting Most Talented Candidates scholarship program

 The aim of the program is to increase the effectiveness of Gdańsk Tech in competing for the most talented candidates for studies in the fields related to the subjects of PRA Centers. The way to achieve the goal are scholarships based on the achievements from the previous stage of education for particularly gifted students starting full-time 1st or 2nd cycle studies at Gdańsk Tech.

We would like to inform you that in accordance with the new Doctoral School Regulations in force from 01.10.2024, there have been changes in the area of Extension of the deadline for submission of the dissertation, which made it necessary to update the template for extension of the deadline for submission of the dissertation.

New template is available on our website under PhD Students -> Formalities -> Download materials -> Templates (available after logging in to the website - login data are the same as in the MojaPG system).

New Authorities of the Gdańsk University of Technology Doctoral Students’ Self-government

As of 1 March 2025, Aleksandra Ławniczak, M.Sc., representing the discipline of Materials Engineering, took over her term as Chairwoman of Gdańsk University of Technology Doctoral Students’ Self-government.

Aleksandra Ławniczak is a second-year doctoral student pursuing her PhD at the Department of Polymer Technology. Her work focuses on polyurethane materials capable of storing thermal energy.

Together with Aleksandra Ławniczak, the Doctoral Student Self-government Council will be headed by Łukasz Cichocki and Muzafar Ali Kalwar acting as deputy-chairmen.

We would like to thank the previous Chairman, Ignacy Rogoń, for holding such an important position continuously since 2022, for the contribution and dedication that developed the SDPG.

We would like to inform you that the access to the Employee application has been temporarily enabled for all doctoral students in the Moja PG system.

Within the application, you can download digitally signed insurance (RMUA) documents related to the doctoral scholarships you receive, by going to Payments -> eDocuments and choosing “Dokumenty ubezpieczeniowe” > “RMUA za rok”.
