"Universities of the Future" is an innovative project that is revolutionizing the approach to educating undergraduate students. The initiative is being carried out by a consortium of 12 partner universities, including Gdańsk University of Technology, in cooperation with the National Centre for Research and Development as the coordinating institution.

The project involves the implementation of a modern Personalized Education Model (PEM), which offers an alternative to traditional teaching methods. The concept is based on students' individual projects and close collaboration with the socio-economic environment. Participants in the program will receive support from mentors from both academia and business, funding of up to PLN 20,000, and access to specialized micro-courses and workshops on innovation, commercialization, and project management.

Discover the diversity of critical research content on the Web of Science platform

The Web of Science platform is diverse ecosystem of research information hosting 17 various databases, which cover nearly all types of content, ranging from the most authoritative global research journals to patents, dataset, dissertations and other types of research content. The platform contains over 235 million records and connects them through a citation network of 2.9 billion cited references.

Two years have passed since we started implementing changes at the Gdańsk University of Technology, resulting from the voice of young Gdańsk Tech scientists expressed in a survey diagnosing the barriers that stand in the way of the development of young researchers at Gdańsk Tech (Research report, activities for young scientists, events).

In order to compare working conditions, types of barriers encountered, and to enable the introduction of the expected changes, the Office and the Young Researchers Team have once again made available to the young researchers of PG a survey diagnosing the types of barriers at PG, which is available online until March 23, 2025. The survey will be available online from 10 to 23 March 2025. Announcement of the results of the 5th edition of the Radon Supporting Most Talented Students program

The funds awarded under the fourth edition of the program provide scholarships for particularly talented students involved in the university's research activities.

Based on the ranking list of evaluated applications presented by the Evaluation Committee, the Rector of Gdansk University of Technology awarded 31 RADON scholarships to students who scored a minimum of 170 points.

The scholarships were awarded in the amount of PLN 1000 per month for a period of 12 months, i.e. from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025.
