The re-sit session in the summer semester of the 2020/21 academic year at Gdańsk University of Technology will be held on the same terms as the basic session - i.e. in the remote formula.

The authorities of Gdańsk University of Technology, after looking into the Gdańsk Tech Student Government's application, decided that the rules for the basic session would be maintained during the September re-sit session.

Thus, the summer semester re-take session at Gdańsk University of Technology (11-19 September 2021) will be held remotely using electronic means of communication: this applies to both credits and exams.

IDUB activities

Actions to promote and increase awareness of Open Research Data

Activities to promote and increase awareness of Open Research Data aim to disseminate effective methods and practices in the area of publishing and sharing research data among the academic community of Gdańsk University of Technology.

Open Monographs

In modern science, the importance of monographs as a valuable means of communication is not diminishing, especially in the humanities and social sciences. Open Access Monographs are an opportunity for researchers to reach a wider audience. However, unlike journals, discussions about open access to books are still in their infancy.

Journal finding tools

Publishers who offer many journals from various scientific disciplines create tools in which authors who have already prepared a publication (or at least the title and abstract) can quickly find appropriate journals to which they could send the manuscript. Such search engines are often much more effective than searching within thematic collections. It should be remembered that these tools are often available in beta versions and should only be a guideline and not the only criterion in selecting a journal for publication.
