The International Relations Office coordinates the following programmes for foreign employees who want to come to Gdańsk University of Technology:

Incoming students

1024 foreign students from over 70 countries around the world study at the Gdańsk Tech. Half of them are Erasmus + students. Most foreign students come from Belarus (193), Spain (148), Ukraine (142), India (56), China (56), Russia (54), France (51) and Turkey (50).

Prof. Mirosław Gerigk’s underwater platform with a prestigious nomination

The product of prof. Mirosław Gerigk from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology receives a prestigious nomination in the 9th edition of the National Competition "State Security Leader 2021". A multi-functional AUV-Stealth unmanned, underwater platform was awarded.

The nomination for the award is the result of a meeting and presentation at the National Security Bureau, which took place on 18 May 2021.

Actions

The center deals with research and implementation of modern technologies in the field of biomedical engineering, molecular and pharmaceutical biotechnology as well as methods of searching for new drugs.

Researchers are working on new biomedical measurement methods (also using artificial intelligence methods), patient diagnosis and therapy, and dedicated device control systems that are widely used in medicine, including rehabilitation and exoskeletons.

University High School with strong patronage

Marcin Gruchała, Rector of the MUG.
Patronage declaration over the Paweł Adamowicz University High School was signed by the authorities of the three largest universities in Gdańsk, Gdańsk authorities and the Positive Initiatives Foundation. The signatories of the declaration want to jointly care for the modern fields of education of the facility and participate in its educational and social projects.

The patronage declaration was signed on 22 July 2021 by representatives of Gdańsk authorities - the President of Gdańsk, Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, and the founders of the Daniel Fahrenheit University Association in Gdańsk. The University of Gdańsk was represented by the rector prof. Piotr Stepnowski, PhD, DSc, Gdańsk University of Technology – by rector prof.
