First steps in the Library
1. How can I access the Library’s resources and login into workstations?
 
To have access to the Gdańsk Tech Library resources and log onto a library workstation, activate your library account.
2. How do I activate my account?
 

Terms of use

Library account

All students (including postgraduates), PhD students and employees of Gdańsk University of Technology have automatically set up library accounts. The login details for the library account are the same as the details for Moja PG (Gdańsk University of Technology Central Log-in Point).

ILLUME scientists on the Technical Committee of the International Commission on Lighting (CIE)

Karolina Zielińska-Dąbkowska, PhD, Eng., Arch., from the Faculty of Architecture, Katarzyna Bobkowska, PhD, Eng., and Paweł Burdziakowski, PhD, Eng., from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, active in the ILLUME research group within the EkoTech Center, were appointed to be members of the technical committee of the International Commission on Illumination - TC 2-95: Measurement of Obtrusive Light and Sky Glow.  

The International Commission on Illumination (CIE) is an international non-governmental organization devoted to worldwide cooperation via the exchange of information on all matters relating to the science and art of light and lighting, colour and vision, photobiology and image technology.

Beata Krawczyk-Bryłka, PhD, is the new director of MBA studies at Gdańsk Tech

On 1 June 2021, the position of director of the International MBA in Strategy, Program and Project Management program was taken by Beata Krawczyk-Bryłka, PhD, assistant professor at the Faculty of Management and Economics at Gdańsk Tech, business psychologist, doctor of management sciences, expert in human capital management and entrepreneurship, vice-dean for education at the Faculty of Management and Economics at Gdańsk Tech.  

The official taking over of responsibilities took place during the diploma award ceremony of the 10th edition of the program on 21 May 2021, led by Barbara Geniusz-Stepnowska, PhD, MBA director in 2008-2021.

Over PLN 1.3 million for international educational projects

Students
The Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics and the Faculty of Management and Economics received funding for the implementation of international teaching projects. Thanks to this, Gdańsk University of Technology will host foreign students and doctoral students at several international summer schools in the next two years.

ScienceApp

Screencap is an educational project concerning intensive, international education programs in the field of applied sciences. Thanks to the received funding, the FAPh&M will launch several international summer schools in the next academic year, operating in the hybrid form, i.e. blended learning, or on-line (depending on the pandemic situation).
