On Tuesday, 3 December 2024, the ceremonial opening of the Gdańsk University of Technology Eco-Innovation Centre building took place. This is one of the most modern "green" facilities in this part of Europe. Its main goal will be to conduct innovative research and develop technologies related to sustainable development, environmental protection and reducing the negative impact of human activity on the climate.

The Gdańsk University of Technology Eco-Innovation Center will perform teaching, laboratory and research functions, thus allowing for the education of specialist staff focused on creating further, innovative ecological technologies.

Achievements of the Gdańsk University of Technology - exhibition

On December 4, in the hall in front of the Main Library, an exhibition opening presenting the Achievements of the Gdańsk University of Technology took place to celebrate the university's 120th anniversary.

Dr. Anna Dąbrowska, Director of the PG Library, and Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, Rector of PG, opened the exhibition. Dr. Mikołaj Sikała, a renowned composer and pianist, provided the musical accompaniment.

Special admission - restricted (out of the pool of places), exclusiely open to the winners of open competitions in research projects which provide funds for doctoral scholarships.
