Dear PhD students and all members of the academic community,

The Doctoral Students’ Self-government Council invites you to the second edition of Cultural Day @Gdansk Tech. This year’s event will take place on May 29, at 10:00 AM, in the green area near the Main Building, behind the Security Building, next to car park near Chemistry A and Nano A buildings.

Until June 15, doctoral students from abroad can submit applications and compete for a monthly paid scholarship combined with an internship at one of the universities forming the Fahrenheit Universities. Winners will also be provided with accommodation and reimbursement of travel expenses.

At the application stage they need to indicate the host university in which they are planning to continue their research as part of their doctoral dissertation and support the university during that time. 

EURAXESS Poland is operated within the framework of the National Agency for Academic Exchange. Its aim is to support international mobility and career development for researchers. Each month, on the EURAXESS Poland website, you can find offers of grants and scholarships available to PhD students and academic staff. These offers come from various national and international institutions and organizations from around the world and cover all fields of science.

• The contest runs from May 9 to May 25, 2025

From now on, you can submit an application to live in a Student Dormitory during the Summer Campaign. We would like to remind you that the deadline for submitting applications is May 18, 2025.
You must log in to the form via your student account.

The topics addressed during the meeting included:

• Approval of the minutes from the previous meeting,

• Voting on the transfer of multimedia monitors for departmental use.

During the open discussion session, the schedule and key objectives of upcoming events were presented:

• Young Researchers Forum – a series of meetings organized in English by the Young Scientists Office,

Applications for a place in the Student House for the academic year 2025/2026 should be submitted only via the electronic form available on the individual student account on the Moja PG portal in the Scholarships module (Moja PG -> Student -> Scholarships -> Apply for a benefit -> Applying for a Dormitory, stage I - for the new academic year).

The Scholarship Committee is responsible for the distribution of places in the first stage.

‼️The information is intended only for students of the Gdańsk University of Technology.

The distribution of places in SH for holidays (so-called The Summer Campaign) is the Housing Estate Council (e-mail: akcjalato@pg.edu.pl).

Applications must be submitted within the given deadline.

Applications should be sent using the Forms application.
The link to the Forms application will be available on May 12, 2025 after 8.00 a.m. on the website of the Student Affairs Office.
