Gdańsk Tech students with a gold medal in the 45th Odyssey of the Mind World Final in the USA

The Odyssey team from the Faculty of Architecture, composed of: Patryk Karpiński, Zuzanna Kośnik, Aleksander Kulewski, Iga Kęsicka and Łukasz Krasucki, won the gold medal in the 45th World Final of the Odyssey of the Mind in the USA in the problem titled "Structure from Space" in the 4th age group.

– The uniqueness of our solution was based on adapting the ambiguity of the word star, i.e. a heavenly construct and a show business personality, into a representation. This Star was discovered by tireless yet rather reckless researchers who, due to the multitude of their research, led, as it later turned out, to the deliberate collapse of the star.

Szkolenie - patenty

The Advanced Materials Center invites on the June 12th, 2024 at 10:15-12:00 AM to the Auditorium 1 (building WETI A) for the workshops on patenting of the inventions, which will be conducted by dr Justyna Pawłowska, titl. "We have developed a solution and we would like to patent it - what next?" (pol. "Opracowaliśmy rozwiązanie i chcielibyśmy je opatentować - co dalej?"). 

MSc Eng. Szymon Królak became a laureate of the 1st edition of the competition for the Advanced Materials Center Award

We are pleased to inform, that MSc Eng. Szymon Królak became a laureate of the 1st edition of the competition for the Advanced Materials Center Award. The title of his thesis is "Hf doping influence on physical properties of Zr2-xHfxCo.", and it was realised under the supervision of Prof. Tomasz Klimczuk from the Faculty of the Applied Physics and Mathematics.

Supporting mobility abroad for the best doctoral students - results

In accordance with the Regulations supporting mobility abroad for the best doctoral students of the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology in the form of three-month NAWA internships, financed from the project funds „Gdańsk Tech Doctoral School closer to Europe” the Selection Committee awarded 9 three-month internships on the basis of a competitive procedure.

4th-year PhD students need to apply for PhD training extension and obtain approval

2nd-year PhD students will have to take part in mid-term evaluation online
