Mid-term evaluation - committee interviews with PhD students and supervisors
We would like to inform you that all individual reviews by the mid-term evaluation committee members on the doctoral students' reports have been uploaded in the Moja PG system to the previously submitted eDocuments
According to the mid-term evaluation schedule, the next step are interviews with PhD students and their supervisors, which will be held online in the second half of October. Meetings with PhD students and their supervisors will be conducted separately. Presumably, each such meeting with a PhD student can last more than half an hour.
About Office
The Young Researchers Office is a unit of the central administration working for young scientists at the Gdańsk University of Technology. It was appointed on February 1, 2024 and reports to the Vice-Rector for Research.
Next call in Actinium program (07.10-06.11.2024)
The goal of the program is to increase the effectiveness of Gdansk University of Technology in competing for the most talented candidates for studies, in fields corresponding to the subject matter of POB Centers. The way to achieve the goal is through scholarships for particularly talented, based on the achievements obtained at the previous educational stage, students entering full-time studies of the first or second degree at Gdansk University of Technology.

Diversity and inclusion workshops (18.10)
The International Relations Office warmly invites PhD students and students to join the Diversity and Inclusion Workshop on Friday, October 18th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the creative room, Hydromechanics Building No. 11.
During the workshop, participants will work on ideas for actions related to IDE (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity) that we can take at Gdańsk Tech. Moreover, the initiatives developed will be eligible for submission to the Diversity Seed Fund, which supports student projects within the ENHANCE Alliance.
Climate walk - understanding and adapting to climate change (14.10)
The International Relations Office invites PhD students, students and staff to "Climate Walk: Understanding and Adapting to Climate Change," which will take place on Monday, October 14th, at 10:00 a.m.
During the walk, led by prof. dr hab. inż. Magdalena Gajewska and dr inż. Magda Kasprzyk from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, participants will have the opportunity to discuss among other things the outcomes of urban development, and explore the measures that can be taken to adapt cities to climate change. Identify and analyze existing solutions, and suggest improvements to enhance urban resilience.

Welcome Office invites international students and PhD students to an information session on legalization of stay in Poland, which will take place on Thursday, October 10th at 4:00 PM in the conference room in the Hydromechanics Building.

Due to an error, surveys were not attached to doctoral student accounts on October 7, so we are extending the opportunity to complete the survey until November 20.
On October 7, 2024, the surveys evaluating teachers in AY 2023/2024 (summer semester) were attached to the accounts of PhD students.
Until 31 October 2024, PhD students are expected to share their opinions.
