Fahrenheit Scholarships. We know the winners of 3rd edition

Gdańsk
Once again three overseas PhD students have been selected to receive the Daniel Fahrenheit Scholarship funded by the Mayor of Gdańsk in consultation with the Fahrenheit Universities. They will start the internship in our universities – the Medical University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology and the University of Gdańsk.

The winners will continue their interdisciplinary research as part of their doctoral dissertation at one of the Fahrenheit Universities during the one-year internship. The winners are entitled not only to a scholarship at PLN 6,500 net per month for the entire duration of their stay, but also to free accommodation.

The ICM UW Open Science Platform invites you to a webinar as part of this year's International Open Access Week.

OpenAIRE Graph is a free and open resource that connects millions of metadata records from over 100,000 data sources.
During the meeting, you will learn what this tool is used for and how it gathers information.

Barrier-free Gdańsk Tech Library

Accessible architecture

Individuals with mobility impairments can access all areas of the Gdańsk Tech Library. The Main Building, along with other locations housing library branches, is equipped with lifts that facilitate entry for wheelchair users. The entrance to the Main Building features a photocell and an automatic door opening mechanism. Within the Main Building, accessible toilets for individuals with disabilities are located on every floor, positioned to the left of the main entrance.

Ninth edition of the Gdańsk Tech Civic Budget

From October 30, you can submit projects for the university's Civic Budget. Projects must be related to the university's infrastructure, and can be submitted by Gdańsk Tech employees, students and PhD students. Prepared projects should be sent via an application form, which will be available on the Budget website (in Polish only).
Submit your project

In this year's edition of the Gdańsk Tech Civic Budget, there is 420,000 PLN for employee projects and 180,000 PLN for student and PhD students projects. Each originator should get the endorsement of five people from the university, clearly describe the project theme and estimate the cost of its implementation. 

Transfer of tasks between the outgoing and newly appointed Team of Young Researchers

The intergenerational meeting with the symbolic transfer of tasks and responsibilities, as well as friendly advices between the outgoing Team monitoring the conditions of development and research conducted by young researchers and the newly established Team of Young Researchers, took place on 17 October 17 year in the Eureka Hotel in Sopot.
