Gdańsk University of Technology at the HACK-4-SAGES International Hackathon

Students and doctoral candidates from Gdańsk University of Technology took part in the international HACK-4-SAGES hackathon dedicated to modelling planetary environments using Digital Twin technologies.

On 10–12 March 2026, Gdańsk University of Technology participated in the international hybrid hackathon HACK-4-SAGES, focused on modelling planetary environments using Digital Twins.

The main objectives of the Titanium Supporting International Patent Applications program are the implementation of mechanisms for the identification and protection of intellectual property on an international scale of valuable inventions developed at Gdańsk University of Technology.

Co-financing may be granted only for activities concerning inventions to which the University will be entitled - in whole or in part - to property rights, and the University is not subject to restrictions on the commercial use of the invention.

Mission PRELUDIUM: Designing a competitive research project - training (19.03.2026)

Gdańsk University of Technology Doctoral Students' Self-Government invites you to a training session on preparing and submitting a Preludium grant proposal.

The training will be led by dr inż Adam Olszewski – an alumnus of our Doctoral School with extensive experience in drafting national and international projects (including OPUS, Preludium, M-ERA.NET, bilateral projects, and Horizon Europe) and a former NCN plenipotentiary at the National Representation of Doctoral Candidates (KRD).

Meeting of the Team for the development of the CoARA Action Plan for 2026-2028

On 11 March 2026, a meeting was held for the development of a CoARA action plan for Gdańsk University of Technology for the period 2026-2028, aimed at supporting the reform of research assessment practices.

The discussion focused on outlining the main priorities and possibilities to align institutional evaluation practices with the principles of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA), particularly the shift toward more responsible, transparent, and diverse methods of assessing research and researchers.

Open Science Hub Staff Week

Staff week Application of AI in Academic Research: From Data Management to Ethical Transparency is a final event of the ENHANCE Open Science Hub – a series of online meetings, which aims to exchange experiences and good practices between librarians, RDM specialists and researchers from associated universities. Open Science Hub Staff Week takes place at Gdańsk University of Technology on 6-8 May 2026 along with other ENHANCE Hub staff weeks and meetings.

The TITANIUM program is an element of the tasks of the IDUB program in the scope of increasing the transfer of knowledge and technology.

For whom?

An application for funding may be submitted by an employee, doctoral student or student of the Gdansk University of Technology.

Co-financing may be granted only for activities concerning inventions to which the University will be entitled - in whole or in part - to property rights, and the University is not subject to restrictions on the commercial use of the invention.
