Pomeranian Universities to Jointly Inaugurate the Academic Year

FarU
On October 4th in Gdańsk, at the initiative of the Fahrenheit Universities, institutions of higher education from the Pomeranian region, together with local government authorities, will formally inaugurate the 2025/2026 academic year. The now-traditional academic procession will proceed along the Royal Route (Trakt Królewski), from the Golden Gate (Złota Brama) to the Artus Court (Dwór Artusa).

The vibrant parade—rich with symbols of academic tradition—will begin assembling near the Golden Gate at 10:30 a.m. Promptly at 11:00 a.m., the procession will set off along Długa Street toward Długi Targ and the Artus Court.

The parade will be accompanied by an array of artistic performances provided by the Gdańsk Academic Orchestra, as well as stilt walkers, jugglers, unicyclists, and performers in mirrored costumes—all of whom will contribute to the event’s visual and celebratory character.
