Feel invited to explore the latest selection of international grants and scholarships for researchers and doctoral candidates, recently published by EURAXESS Poland.

EURAXESS Poland is operated within the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). Its goal is to support international mobility and career development for scientists. Every month, on the EURAXESS Poland website, you can find offers of international grants and scholarships available to doctoral students and academic staff. The offers come from various national and international institutions and organizations from around the world and cover all fields of science.

Suspension of accepting staff applications in the Erasmus+ program

Due to the very high interest in Erasmus+ mobilities, as of February 1, 2024, submission of applications by staff is suspended until further notice. At the same time, we would like to inform that the university has already taken steps to gain additional funding for mobilities.

The possibility of submitting applications will be suspended from February 1. Employees who have submitted applications but have not yet received approval for their mobilities will be informed whether their applications will be further processed within the following two weeks.

Going to study abroad is one of the most developing experiences. Therefore, Santander, in cooperation with Polish universities, including Gdańsk University of Technology, is recruiting for the second edition of the Santander Scholarship for Erasmus 2024 scholarship program.

Multi-sensor system for detecting and reducing noise in rail transport

Scientists from Gdańsk University of Technology, in cooperation with the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, are developing an innovative measurement and analytical system to monitor traffic, technical and environmental parameters important for the management of railway infrastructure.

Gdańsk University of Technology (project leader), in a consortium with the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, is conducting a research project entitled "A system for precise monitoring of the impact of railway traffic on the environment, including information on traffic, technical and environmental data", in short InfraNoise.

What COIL method is? TU Berlin invites lectures for a meeting (January 29)

TU Berlin, partner of Gdansk University of Technology in the ENHANCE Alliance, invites academic teachers and all those interested in modern forms of education to participate in an online meeting dedicated to the COIL method (Collaborative Online International Learning). The event will take place on Monday, January 29th, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Zoom platform. Prior registration is required.

What is the COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) method? In short, it is a method of conducting a course where lecturers and students from at least two countries meet in a virtual classroom and collaborate online, breaking down national boundaries, to work on a given issue. COIL courses can be integrated into the curriculum or offered as additional classes. Participating in a COIL course allows both lecturers and students to develop professional, digital, and intercultural competencies.

Summer School at Beijing Institute of Technology - apply by March 15

International Relations Office invites faculties to nominate students for participation in the Summer School organized by Beijing Institute of Technology (China). There are 10 spots available for students from Gdansk University of Technology. The lists of nominated students can be sent until March 15.

Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), one of Gdansk University of Technology's partner universities in China, invites students to participate in the Summer School, held both in-person (July 1-27) and online (August 5-16).

Nearly 7 million PLN for the development and modification of educational programs

Gdańsk University of Technology received funding for the development and modification of educational programs for key sectors of the domestic industry under the European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 (FERS) program.

Gdańsk Tech received the grant as one of 23 applicants. As part of the implementation of the Studio 5.0 project, five fields of second-cycle studies at five faculties of the university will be modified:
