Knowledge of tax law—obligations, document templates, deadlines—is important not only for Polish citizens but also for foreign employees, PhD students, and students. Especially at this time of year, with the deadline for tax returns coming up, knowing how to handle taxes is really helpful.

To help foreigners who work and study at Gdańsk Tech navigate this complex system, the International Relations Office invites you to a training session on tax law, which will be led by dr Piotr Kasprzak – an expert from the Faculty of Management and Economics.

The course is highly interactive and focuses on democracy, participation, and socio-ecological transformation. Participants jointly explore decision-making processes in academia and professional environments and learn how to initiate change within their organizations and communities.

9–13 February 2026 people around the world celebrate Love Data Week. It is an international event about research data and good practices for collecting, organizing, storing, sharing and archiving data for a long time.
This year’s theme "Where are the data?" shows how important data management is at every stage of research.

Scholarship coverage

The scholarships include:

• tuition fees,

• accommodation in a university hall of residence,

• meals during the International Summer School period
  (from 12 to 25 July 2026 – inclusive).

Please note that travel expenses are not covered and must be paid by participants.

he Welcome Meeting is an informational event organized at the beginning of each semester by the International Cooperation Office in cooperation with student organizations. The event is open to both full-degree students and exchange students participating in the Erasmus+ Programme.

During the Welcome Meeting, students will have the opportunity to:

• learn what matters can be handled at the Welcome Office,

• find out how cultural differences may affect their first days in Poland,

The programme brings together academics, industry representatives, and policymakers, offering fact-based insights into future energy markets, technological innovation, and pathways toward a net-zero society. Key topics include energy security, sustainable finance, bioeconomy, batteries, future fuels, and energy-efficient industry.

The event is open to researchers, students, professionals, and anyone interested in the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition.

The programme provides comprehensive support for participants who, in addition to project funding, will receive access to training and mentoring based on individual development plans. The goal of the National Centre for Research and Development is that, upon completion of the programme, each participant will have not only research results but also the appropriate business knowledge enabling the effective commercialisation of their solution.
