On October 15, 2025, the first meeting of the Young Researchers Team took place for the 2025/2026 academic year. The meeting, held in a hybrid format, brought together team members, including new participants and, for the first time, a representative from the Industrial Doctoral School.

During the session, the Team approved the work schedule for 2025/2026 and discussed upcoming events:

The role of the marshal was taken on by Mateusz Glass. The debate was won by the team of Agnieszka Lendzion, which successfully refuted the thesis that international cooperation supports the development of science and teamwork.

Showcase your career success with descriptive impact narratives

Researchers are increasingly required to provide evidence of progress towards sustainable goals, global challenges and demonstrate the impact of research on the wider society. In this session we will explore data and tools which enable researchers to compile data driven descriptive impact narratives.

We will present how to enrich an impact narrative with industry leading research classification and explore a variety of impact metrics beyond traditional citation-based indicators sourced in Web of Science

Elevate the visibility of your research work with ease

Building the story of your research contributions in a quick and efficient way is challenging when research activities are spread across multiple data sources. Unifying disparate research data is time consuming and defers your time away from conducting research.

In this session we will discuss how Web of Science platform is the single-entry point to multiple research activities and makes light work of unifying your research contributions to elevate the visibility of career and research breakthroughs.

Environmental

Environmental wellbeing is about the connection with the world around us. Time spent in nature, green spaces at work or home, and sustainable habits all help reduce stress and bring balance. Caring for the environment supports both people and the planet. Natural surroundings make us feel calmer, healthier, and more inspired, creating spaces where wellbeing can truly be supported. Everyday choices, like recycling or saving energy, also support this dimension. Respect for nature gives people a sense of responsibility and belonging to something bigger.

Financial

Financial wellbeing is about feeling secure and stable when it comes to money. It means being fairly rewarded, having confidence in managing daily needs, and being able to plan for the future without constant stress. When financial worries are reduced, people can focus on growth, creativity, and enjoying life. A sense of financial stability brings peace of mind and freedom to think about what really matters. Clear goals and good planning strengthen this sense of stability.
