The prime values of Gdańsk Tech include the quality of life of contemporary and future generations. Therefore we emphasize to have our share in the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the European Green Deal.

The challenges and plans that we set before ourselves as a Research University do not stand contrary to respect for the environment.

On our campus, we also do not forget about people with disabilities. Most of the buildings are adapted to the needs of students and employees with physical disabilities. The amenities include ramps, stair platforms and lifts.

The campus of Gdańsk University of Technology has been recognized as one of the most beautiful campuses in Europe according to Times Higher Education. There are modern and environmentally friendly buildings as well as majestic buildings from the beginning XX century on the 77 hectares of the campus.

Several thousand employees and students travel to Gdańsk Tech campus every day.

We wish to promote sustainable consumption and production. Limiting our impact on climate change through effective waste segregation and limiting waste production has been our objective for several years now.

The most important goal is to reduce CO₂ emissions by half by 2030 and achieve zero net emissions by 2040 at the latest.
