Gdańsk Tech – Gdańsk University of Technology (Polish name: Politechnika Gdańska) is one of the oldest universities in Poland and the largest technical university in Northern Poland.

Gdańsk University of Technology implements activities for the local community aimed at promoting science and technology, disseminating culture and supporting educational initiatives, as part of the so-called the third mission of the university.

Over 190,000 well-educated graduates have graduated from Gdańsk University of Technology since 1904! Every year, there are about 5 000, i.e. 420 on average per month and 20 on one working day. Most defences take place in October and November, and January and February, and the counter shows their estimated average.
