The Second Meeting of the Young Researchers Team
During the meeting, we developed a work schedule for the Team for the upcoming year. We initiated work on the framework and content of a survey investigating barriers faced by young scientists at Gdańsk Tech two years after the previous survey. Each representative presented the expectations and plans for the upcoming year from the perspective of Faculty Authorities and the Doctoral School, regarding activities and cooperation with the Young Scientists Team.
Forum of Young Researchers
Thank you for your votes and creative ideas. We are delighted to announce that, thanks to your engagement and inspiring suggestions, the regular meetings of young scientists will be named: "Forum of Young Researchers".
The first meeting will take place in January 2025. Details will be published soon.
"Achievements of Gdańsk University of Technology"
The exhibition showcases the rich accomplishments of our university—both as a whole and through the achievements of individual faculties and units. It is a journey through the history of Gdańsk University of Technology, highlighting its role and contributions within the academic structure, as well as its most important successes over the years.
Next call in the Radon program (16.12.24-17.01.24)
The Radon program is part of the implementation of the IDUB program's tasks to improve the quality of student education, especially in the fields and disciplines related to the university's priority research areas (PRas).
Recruitment in the program will run from 16.12.24 to 17.01.25.
Budget and conditions for project implementation
The scholarship in the program is PLN 1,000/month and is awarded for a period of no more than 12 months.
Collections of the Gdańsk Tech Library are available online in Polona
The selected Gdansk University of Technology Library collections are available in the digital library Polona.
This includes all objects restored and digitized as part of the Social Responsibility of Science project, which was implemented in 2022-2024. Prints selected for earlier SON projects - 2019-2021 and 2021-2023—are also gradually being added.
Currently, 30 objects are available in Polona within two collections: old prints and collections published between 1801 and 1945.

The education program valid for the 2025/2026 academic year will continue to follow the curriculum introduced in the 2023/2024 academic year, as adopted by Senate Resolution No. 277/2022/XXV.
Science's Challenges: Human-AI Partnership
"Artificial intelligence will be a tool in the hands of scientists. I’d like to be at least its partner, if not the one who remains wiser.
