NAWA invites: Swiss Government Scholarships (applications open until November 20)
The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) encourages researchers from various fields to apply for Swiss Government Scholarships for research stays, doctoral studies, and postdoctoral fellowships. Applications are open until November 20, 2024.

Each year, the Swiss government awards “Government Excellence Scholarships.” The aim of this initiative is to promote international exchange and research cooperation between Switzerland and over 180 other countries. Scholarships are granted for research or studies at all cantonal Swiss universities, universities of applied sciences, the two federal institutes of technology, as well as four research institutes.

The Swiss Government Scholarship program for Polish citizens for the 2025/26 academic year offers scholarships for:

ENHANCE invites: webinar on e-learning (September 2nd)

Which form of education - on-campus or remote, is more attractive to students? How do young people evaluate both forms of study? What are their ideas for improving distance learning? These and many other questions will be addressed during the webinar titled "Teaching and Researching Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Innovation," which will take place on Monday, September 2nd, from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM. The event is organized by Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden and Warsaw University of Technology. Prior registration is required to participate in the event.

In November 2022, Gdańsk University of Technology joined the ENHANCE Alliance - a consortium of 10 technical universities from Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, and Poland. This affiliation also made Gdańsk Tech part of the European Universities initiative.

Students who want to give up their right to live in the Student House and have paid a guarantee deposit should report this fact in writing to OKS (Appeal Scholarship Committee: oks@pg.edu.pl) by September 4, 2024.
In case of resignation in the above term, the deposit will be refundable.

Young Scientists Seminar at the Advanced Materials Center on 10.09.2024, 10:00-15:00

We cordially invite the academic community who are interested in electrochemical processes and the development of electrode materials to Young Scientists Seminar at the Advanced Materials Center of the Gdańsk Tech, which will be held on September 10th, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in room NE 140 of WETI B (Building 42).

The seminar will be devoted to the modern material technologies for electrochemical and sensing applications.

Congress "Science beyond divisions" - REGISTRATION

The Young Researchers Team and Office invite you to take part in the Congress "Science beyond divisions", which will be held on September 12-13, 2024 at Gdańsk University of Technology.

The entire event will be held in Polish. Detailed information on the congress website (PL).

During the first day of the Congress, experts from all over Poland will debate the current state of higher education. The following topics will be discussed during the panels:

The 2nd Young Researchers Day at Gdańsk University of Technology is already behind us. This year, in the summer edition, we met on June 27 to talk about stars. Przemysław Mieszko Rudź introduced us to the subject of astronomy with the lecture "From Apollo to Artemis". Two scientific groups presented themselves: the Gdańsk Tech Astrophysical Science Club and the SimLE Science Club.
