Awarding the "Entrepreneurial University Accreditation" certificate to the Gdańsk University of Technology during the ACEEU Forum in Lisbon

ACEEU Certificate
Gdańsk University of Technology received the "Entrepreneurial University Accreditation" certificate. The recognition ceremony took place on September 19, 2024 during the ACEEU Stakeholder Forum in Lisbon. The award was received on behalf of the Gdańsk University of Technology by Agnieszka Cholewińska and Anna Tomkiel from the Strategic Analysis Center.

Gdańsk University of Technology is the first technical university in the world with dual ACEEU accreditation.

Participation in the ACEEU Stakeholder Forum is also an opportunity to exchange experiences between universities. This year's main theme was the aspect of entrepreneurship in research and science.

Applying for scholarships in the winter semester 2024/2025

From 7 to 21 October 2024, the Scholarship Committee accepts applications for the maintenance scholarship, the Rector's scholarship and the scholarship for people with disabilities. To receive a scholarship for the full period, you must submit an application by the above deadline.

We invite students to the Committee's office in Bratniak (building no. 23, rooms 204-205) during office hours, especially if you are not sure whether your application is complete.

Joint opening of the academic year for Pomeranian universities

For the third time, representatives of Pomeranian universities, local authorities, PhD students and student communities will inaugurate the academic year with a colourful parade through Długa Street in Gdańsk. This year's event is scheduled for 5 October at 11.00 am.

You are invited to participate in this nationally unique event by Fahrenheit Universities, the Mayor of the City of Gdańsk, Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, and the Director of the Doctoral School, prof. dr hab. inż. Robert Jankowski, who will also be present at the event.

Another call within the framework of Individual Research Studies and within the Radium program

Through the RADIUM Program it is possible to fund the cost of research by undergraduate students in Individual Research Studies. 

Budget and funding conditions RADIUM: 

The amount of funding is PLN 24.000 gross, and the period of implementation is no longer than 10 months; 

The condition for participation in RADIUM is that the Applicant obtains prior approval from the Vice-Rector for Education for the implementation of ISB in accordance with the eligibility criteria.

The PhD Open event is a great opportunity for newly recruited PhD students to learn about the educational program, listen to interesting lectures and feel the solemnity of the event thanks to the matriculation conducted by Rector Krzysztof Wilde, professor.

Gdańsk Tech to sign a cooperation agreement with Dezhou University, China
On September 19, a meeting was held in the Senate Hall between representatives of Gdańsk University of Technology (Gdańsk Tech) and a delegation from Dezhou University (China), during which a new framework cooperation agreement was signed.

The representatives from Dezhou University visited Gdańsk for a three-day visit, the main purpose of which was to sign a cooperation agreement with Gdańsk Tech, including, among other things, the implementation of joint degree programs. The agreement confirms the intention to continue the long-standing cooperation between the two universities.
