We would like to inform you that in accordance with the new Regulations of the Doctoral School effective from 1 October 2024, there have been changes to the Individual Research Proposal, which made it necessary to update the IRP template.

The event was organized by the Vice-Rector for Development, Ph.D., D.Sc., Eng. Justyna Kucińska-Lipka, a professor at Gdańsk University of Technology, and the Director of the Nuclear Energy Center, Prof. Waldemar Kamrat, Ph.D., D.Sc., Eng. The seminar was held under the patronage of the Rector of Gdańsk University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, Ph.D., D.Sc., Eng., a Corresponding Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).
NEW - free legal advice for foreigners
The goal of providing free legal services to foreign workers, PhD students, and students is to assist them in organizing their lives in Poland, thereby facilitating their better integration into their new work and academic environments.
Scope of legal services
- legalizing residence in Poland,
- employment of family members,
- access to the education system,
- access to the healthcare system,
- renting/purchasing an apartment,
- tax matters,
and other related issues.
AMERICIUM program reopening
As a reminder, the AMERICIUM IDUB program is aimed at researchers (particularly young scientists) who would like to undertake a research internship (ranging from 4 to 12 months) at a foreign research institution. Applications can be submitted through the Moja PG system.
Open Day for candidates for second-cycle studies at Gdańsk Tech
– After completing first-cycle studies, many people wonder whether to continue their adventure with education or focus entirely on professional development – says Prof. Mariusz Kaczmarek, Vice-Rector for Education. – However, studying for a master's degree does not eliminate the possibility of gaining professional experience. Gdańsk University of Technology meets the needs of students who want to combine work and studies, proposing, among others, a new formula and a flexible schedule of full-time studies.
