Dear PhD Students,  

We would like to inform you that on February 1, 2024, you received individual links to two surveys on your mailboxes:  

  • assessment of the Doctoral School Office
  • assessment of the infrastructure and administration of Gdańsk University of Technology

The surveyes are addressed to active PhD students of the 2nd - 5th-year, undergoing training at the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology.

Dear PhD Students,  

We would like to inform you that on February 1, 2024, you received individual links to the survey for assessment of the Doctoral School admissions process and onboarding to Gdańsk University of Technology on your mailboxes. The survey is addressed to active first-year PhD students undergoing training at the Doctoral School at Gdansk University of Technology.  

The survey will be available until February 15, 2024, 11:59 pm.

Going to study abroad is one of the most developing experiences. Therefore, Santander, in cooperation with Polish universities, including Gdańsk University of Technology, is recruiting for the second edition of the Santander Scholarship for Erasmus 2024 scholarship program.

Suspension of accepting staff applications in the Erasmus+ program

Due to the very high interest in Erasmus+ mobilities, as of February 1, 2024, submission of applications by staff is suspended until further notice. At the same time, we would like to inform that the university has already taken steps to gain additional funding for mobilities.

UPDATE AS OF MARCH 27, 2024: Applications from employees for the Erasmus+ program are being accepted again. More information can be found on the website www.pg.edu.pl/international.

Scholarships for the summer semester 2023/2024

From February 22 to March 4, 2024, students can apply for scholarships for the summer semester.

Applying for a scholarship in mainly concerns:
- second-cycle students who want to apply for the rector's scholarship for the summer semester (this benefit is awarded every semester)
- newly admitted second-cycle students applying for a maintenance scholarship or a disability scholarship.

At the stage of implementation of the awarded project in the application for the trip - MY PG in the item PURPOSE OF THE TRIP, the employee should write: trip within the IDUB Program (Europium/Americium) - regardless of whether it is already at the stage of applying for an advance, or it is the settlement of the trip without an advance. Advances for the trip are applied for and paid in the currency of the issued decision - that is, in PLN.

Scientists from Gdańsk University of Technology, in cooperation with the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, are developing an innovative measurement and analytical system to monitor traffic, technical and environmental parameters important for the management of railway infrastructure.

Gdańsk University of Technology (project leader), in a consortium with the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, is conducting a research project entitled "A system for precise monitoring of the impact of railway traffic on the environment, including information on traffic, technical and environmental data", in short InfraNoise.
