Magnetic paint that protects against pathogens and cleans itself

The paint fights bacteria, removes stains and cleans the air from harmful compounds, and on top of that it replaces the magnetic board – such hybrid paint is new to the market. It is complemented by a biocidal and self-cleaning finish coat. In tandem, they will provide protection against the growth of pathogens inside a building. The invention can prove to be effective i.a. in hospitals, health centers and schools.

Workshops on intercultural competences - apply now

workshops for academic teachers
The International Relations Office invites teaching and support staff to participate in workshops on cultural differences and culture shock organized as part of the "Hej, are you OK?" project. Registration for classes will last from February 1 to February 24. The number of places is limited. 

About the workshops

Since mid-September 2022, a project entitled "Hey, are you OK?", co-financed by the "Welcome to Poland" program of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange is conducted at Gdańsk Tech. Its main goal is to support the broadly understood emotional well-being of employees and students. One of the activities within the project are workshops on cultural differences and culture shock for teaching and support staff, which are to improve communication with foreigners.

H2Tech LAB – Laboratory of Hydrogen Technologies – interfaculty laboratory at Gdańsk Tech

H2Tech LAB „Laboratory of Hydrogen Technologies” will be created as a result of cooperation between the researchers from the Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering, Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics, and Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics.

The laboratory will be the effect of integrating the existing R&D infrastructure, i.e. Linte^2 Laboratory and new infrastructures developed as part of the following projects:
