Take part in the EUROSTUDENT IX survey – your voice matters!

The latest edition of the largest European survey on student life – EUROSTUDENT IX – is underway. We encourage students of Gdańsk University of Technology to participate in the Polish edition of this international project, which aims to analyze the socio-economic conditions of studying and compare them with those in nearly 30 European countries.

This is a recurring survey that allows researchers to track changes and trends over time. The results are an important source of knowledge for those shaping public policy in the field of higher education – both in Poland and across Europe.

All Fits Together! Puzzle Enthusiasts’ Meeting at the Library. Edition 2

We invite all students and staff of Gdańsk University of Technology to the second edition of the Puzzle Enthusiasts’ Meeting at the Gdańsk Tech Library in the Faculty of Architecture Branch Library (Main Building, floor 4, room 407).
The event will take place on Friday, June 6, from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

This is an excellent opportunity to relax and meet other puzzle lovers. We want the library to be not only a place for studying but also a space for socializing and creative relaxation.

Chinese cabbage in the service of science – a success story of our doctoral students

Can leaves of Chinese cabbage be turned into modern sensors? Absolutely! Doctoral students from our Doctoral School – mgr inż Stefania Wolff and mgr Angelika Łepek – together with a team of researchers from Gdańsk University of Technology and the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IMP PAN), have developed an innovative electrode material derived from processed plant waste.

Doctoral School PhD students and graduate recognized by the Polish Academy of Sciences

We are pleased to announce that two doctoral students and a graduate of the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology have been recognised in the prestigious competition organised by the Polish Academy of Sciences Branch in Gdańsk for the best scientific publications published in 2024.

The competition, organised by the Presidium of the PAN Branch in Gdańsk, has been held regularly for 10 years. It consistently promotes the most promising young researchers from the Pomeranian region, which includes the Pomeranian, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, and West Pomeranian Voivodeships, in five scientific fields: humanities and social sciences, biological and agricultural sciences, exact and Earth sciences, technical sciences, and medical sciences.
