Arkadiusz Dawczak - graduate of the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology, scientifically affiliated with the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics, began his training in the a.y. 2020/2021 under the supervision of prof. dr hab. inż. Maria Gazda from the Institute of Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering.

Due to lack of funds, recruitment in the Oxygenium ETI program is being held up. 

His doctoral thesis, entitled Structural, Thermal, and Electrical Properties of Multicomponent Rare-Earth Ortho-Niobates, was written under the supervision of Professor Maria Gazda, PhD, DSc, Eng., and its reviewers included Professor Izabela Szafraniak-Wiza, PhD, DSc, from the Poznań University of Technology, Professor Tomasz Goryczka, PhD, DSc, from the University of Silesia in Katowice, and Professor Tomasz Brylewski, PhD, DSc, Eng., from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.

We are proud to announce that two inspiring student-led projects from Gdańsk University of Technology have been awarded funding from the ENHANCE Diversity Seed Fund — a European initiative supporting innovative efforts that promote diversity and inclusion across academic communities. 🎉🇪🇺🎓

We invite you to try the Web of Science Research Assistant, a new tool that helps researchers search for, organize, and analyze scientific literature.

The assistant uses artificial intelligence to:

• suggest search terms,
• create bibliographies,
• provide quick overviews of key publications on a topic,
• visualize search results.

The test access is available until April 21, 2025.
