PhD Student's mobilities
Every planned trip by a PhD student (e.g., conference, training, internship, Erasmus mobility) must be submitted via the MojaPG system and approved by the Doctoral School and the supervisor.
The Doctoral School does not fund trips. Travel costs are typically covered by:

supervisor

head of the supervisor's department

project manager
-
or another external funding source.
Projects for PhD Students

The activities offered to PhD students in the scope of projects implemented under the HORYZONT 2020 research and innovation financing program can be found on the National Focal Point website.
Scholarships for PhD Students

Everyone accepted to the Doctoral School (exept for PhD students holding a doctor's title) receives a doctoral scholarship.
Policy for reporting leave / rest breaks / sick leave by PhD students
Communications of the Director of the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology on doctoral students' rest breaks and dates free from classes for doctoral students can be found under PhD Students -> Formalities -> Regulations > School Director's Announcements tab.
Insurance and contributions
The PhD student at the doctoral school (doctoral scholarship) is subject to compulsory social insurance in the field of retirement and disability pension contributions as well as accident insurance.
Electronic PhD Student ID Card (ELD)
The Electronic PhD Student ID is a plastic card with a built-in contactless microchip. It includes an owner’s image and personal data, the document validity date and a visible record of PhD Student’s rights to allowances confirmed by a small hologram. One plastic card plays the role of 4 documents:
1. a traditional PhD Student ID card,
2. a library card,
3. a city card.
4. entry card for PG parking.
