Gdańsk University of Technology has many additional workshops, training and events for students.

All students and alumni of Gdańsk University of Technology as well as employers are eligible to the services offered by Careers Office. Our services include:

Gdańsk Tech is a place of varied activities aimed at maintaining a friendly and open attitude. The students can expand their range of interests and broaden their knowledge through active participation in student organizations and student scientific societies.

Ensuring high quality education for the dynamic development of economy and knowledge-based society is one of the key elements of the mission of Gdańsk University of Technology (GUT).

Health Insurance for EU/ EEA citizens

A valid passport, student Identity Card or doctoral student Identity Card and a valid European Health Insurance Card entitles its holder to medical care services free of charge in Poland. Those who fail to present any of the documents will be obliged to cover the cost of medical help. Students need to apply for EKUZ in their home country.

Students of Gdańsku University of Technology may apply for :

• maintenance grant;
• disability grant;
• special assistance grant;
• rector's scholarship;

Santander Universidades is one of the social support costs of Santander Bank Polska and the Santander Group. A program supporting courses from almost 1,200 universities around the world, including over 50 universities in Poland.

Benefits for the university

Education is free of charge for Polish citizens. It may be different for foreign students, depending on your status. If you need extra financing, there is a quite popular solution – special student loans offered by banks selected by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
