Autonomous ships and safe navigation. GUT implements an innovative project

the view of Maritime Office in Gdynia
Gdańsk University of Technology together with the Maritime Office in Gdynia will be among the first institutions to start implementing the international and high-budget InSecTT project - dedicated, among others, to counteracting cyberattacks within the so-called Internet of Things and improving shipping safety. Scientists from Gdańsk University of Technology, among others, will be responsible for the implementation of proprietary technologies developed within the project, whose total value is over EUR 44 million.

The InSecTT (Intelligent Secure Trustable Things) project is an international research initiative based on the Horizon2020 program, which includes the most important companies and scientific institutions from all over Europe (a total of 52 partners from 11 EU countries and Turkey). They develop safe IoT systems (so-called Internet of Things) on a daily basis, supported by solutions in the field of artificial intelligence.
