“Hornet” to defend the Polish Baltic Sea. Gdańsk University of Technology’s Autonomous and Unmanned Boat
The work on the project began in 2020, as part of the European Commission-supervised Horizon 2020 program supporting research and innovation. Led by Prof. Łukasz Kulas, a team of Gdańsk Tech scientists created a self-developed structure for the entire system, including both the specialized apparatus and software.
[1st semester] Mandatory health and safety training for PhD students (until 15.12.2024)
We would like to inform you about the obligation to pass the Health and Safety (for students) course on the eNauczanie platform. The course can be taken in Polish or English. Please complete it by December 15, 2024.
NOTE! Passing the health and safety course is mandatory to pass the first semester.
Committee on Ethics of Scientific Research for the term 2024 - 2028
On October 17, 2024, the Rector of the Gdańsk University of Technology, prof. dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Wilde, nominated the Committee on Ethics of Scientific Research for the term 2024 - 2028 with prof. dr hab. Ewa Lechman as a member, who, as of this academic year, has become Deputy Director for Education, Quality and PQF.

Summary of the Congress 'Science beyond divisions'
The first Congress 'Science beyond divisions' at Gdańsk University of Technology took place on September 12–13, 2024. The event was initiated by the Office and the Team of Young Scientists. The congress was organized as a part of the celebration of the 120th anniversary of the University and was financed by IDUB.
