Gdańsk Tech Sustainability Report
We are presenting the fourth edition of the Gdańsk Tech Sustainability Report, which is a summary of our University's activities in the area of implementing the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the 2023/2024 academic year.

The report presents numerous activities undertaken by Gdańsk Tech for the benefit of the environment, society and the economy, which indicate the direction our University is taking in terms of sustainable development.

Good quality education, innovation going hand in hand with caring for the environment, increasing the resilience of cities to the effects of climate change, safety, health and a good quality of peoples’ lives, supporting social inclusion are some of the topics that find their development in this report.

Gdańsk University of Technology comes second in Poland in EngiRank 2024

Gdańsk University of Technology was included in the prestigious group of Top-100 European universities in this year's edition of EngiRank and placed second among Polish technical universities.

This year's edition of the ranking classified 226 universities from 27 European Union countries as well as Norway and Switzerland. Gdańsk University of Technology took 64th place in the ranking and second place among Polish technical universities.

Gdańsk University of Technology visits India
Gdańsk University of Technology delegation visited India in October 19-26 to strengthen partnerships and establish new collaborative initiatives with leading Indian institutions.

The delegation, consisting of Prof. Christian Jungnickel, Rectors Representative for Cooperation with Asian Higher Education Institutions, Prof. Michal Tomczak, Vice Dean for Cooperation and Development of the Faculty of Management and Economics, and Monika Czerepak, Deputy Director of the International Relations Office, engaged with multiple universities and agencies, focusing on student exchange programs, research collaborations, and academic partnerships.

Additional 2 million PLN for Gdańsk Tech activities in the ENHANCE Alliance

Gdańsk University of Technology has been granted almost 2 million PLN from the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) for running the “Support for European Universities” project. Its main objective is strengthening Gdańsk University of Technology within the ENHANCE Alliance, an international alliance of technical universities. The project will run for 2 years – until the end of September 2026. The activities will be coordinated by the International Relations Office.
Gdańsk Tech as Member of the European Universities Initiative

In November 2022, Gdańsk Tech joined the ENHANCE Alliance, which brings together high-ranking technical universities from the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Poland; besides Gdańsk Tech, the Warsaw University of Technology is also a member of the Alliance. Universities from Ukraine are also among the associated partners.
