The "ProDok 2024" Doctoral Community Competition Has Been Concluded

On November 16, 2024, during a formal gala, awards were presented to the winners of the ProDok 2024 Doctoral Community Competition for the most pro-doctoral initiatives of the past academic year, organized by doctoral councils from Polish research institutions.

The main goal of the ProDok 2024 Doctoral Community Competition was to ensure fair, collegial, and development-oriented competition. The event also served as an opportunity to review community initiatives and recognize activities that inspire future efforts.

Doctoral students are undeniable leaders within the Academic Community, as evidenced by the nearly 100 submissions received for the competition! In response to feedback from the community, this year’s competition was decided through voting by doctoral councils.

Admissions to the Doctoral School for the AY 2025/2026

We would like to inform you that according to the planned admissions schedule* the standard admission for AY. 2025/2026 to the Doctoral School conducted jointly by the Gdańsk University of Technology (Gdańsk Tech) and the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Hydro-Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences will start in mid-April 2025.

Enrolment will include 14 disciplines:

During the Sustainable Development Week at Gdańsk University of Technology (PG), the final of the poster session competition "Active – practical ways to sustainable development" took place.

The competition provided an opportunity to showcase artistic skills, creativity, and ideas on implementing the concept of sustainable development. Members of the PG community participated in the event.

Meeting of the Young Researchers Team

On October 28th, the first meeting of the Young Researchers Team for the 2024-2028 term took place.

We kicked off with a brainstorming session to outline the vision, priorities, and action plan for the Team's activities. Our commitment is to support the professional development of young scientists at Gdańsk University of Technology, while working to minimize and eliminate barriers that hinder their work and limit their growth at Gdańsk Tech.
