New term of office of the Gdańsk University of Technology Council for the years 2025-2028

The new term of office of the Gdańsk University of Technology Council began on 1 January 2025. The Council consists of seven members elected by the Gdańsk University of Technology Senate. The composition of the Council for the term 2025-2028 was selected by the Senate of Gdańsk University of Technology during its meeting on 13 November 2024.  

The University Council is a collegial body of Gdańsk University of Technology, operating since 2019. The term lasts four years. It is composed of five Tri-City entrepreneurs, a scientist from Gdańsk University of Technology and the chairman of the Student Government.

Submissions for the Annual Fahrenheit University Award are Now Open

We invite you to participate in the competition organized by Gdańsk Medical University, Gdańsk University of Technology, and the University of Gdańsk as part of the established Fahrenheit University Union, and to submit initiatives undertaken by members of the FarU community in 2024. Participation in the competition is possible by filling out the online application form by January 20, 2025.

The competition is held annually for innovative actions carried out individually or collectively by students, doctoral candidates, or staff in the scientific, educational, organizational, or social spheres.

A financial award funded by the FarU Assembly – 15,000 PLN – is designated for the creators of the highest-rated project.

Stages of the Competition:

I. Acceptance of applications by filling out the online application form by January 20, 2025.

Collaboration in the IEA SHC TCP Program – Open Seminar at Gdańsk Tech

On January 14, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, an informational seminar will be held in the Hydromechanics Building of Gdańsk University of Technology, dedicated to the opportunities for collaboration within the framework of the International Energy Agency (IEA) – Solar Heating and Cooling Technology Collaboration Programme (IEA SHC TCP).

The event aims to present ongoing projects and discuss prospects for collaboration. The seminar will feature representatives from the Ministry of Climate and Environment and international experts.

Suspension of Erasmus+ recruitment

Suspension of Erasmus+ Recruitment

We would like to inform you that due to 70% of the funds allocated for training trips under the Erasmus+ program being utilized, recruitment for such trips to Europe is suspended until the end of January 2025.

Recruitment will resume in February 2025 and will take place in a competitive format.

We would also like to remind you that recruitment for trips aimed at conducting teaching activities continues on an ongoing basis.

The rules for recruitment will be announced after the New Year.
