Race to Zero – Gdańsk Tech’s actions for climate

Gdańsk University of Technology has published a plan of actions it is taking and is going to take as part of the Race to Zero campaign. The initiative, launched in 2020 by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, focuses on striving to achieve zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

The goal of the global initiative, the Race to Zero campaign, is to unite business leaders, cities, regions, investors and educational and research institutions in striving to achieve zero net greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 at the latest.

The results of the room allocation for the 2024/2025 academic year will be published on July 22, 2024 on the Facebook groups of individual Student Dormitories.
You can also ask the Residents' Council of your dormitory for information by e-mail. All comments should be sent to the Residents' Council on July 23-25, 2024. The final results will be published on July 29, 2024.

Race to Zero
The Race to Zero campaign was launched in 2020 by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

The aim of this global initiative is to unite business leaders, cities, regions, investors and educational and research institutions in the pursuit of achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 at the latest. Since the launch of the campaign, the number of Race to Zero members has grown dynamically. Currently, the campaign brings together 13.5 thousand participants from various sectors and regions of the world (as of July 2024). There are approximately 10,000 members among them.

The aim of the Program is to implement mechanisms for the identification and protection of intellectual property on an international scale of valuable inventions developed at Gdansk University of Technology Under the Program it is possible to obtain funding to cover the costs of activities aimed at obtaining or extending international legal protection of an invention.

EURAXESS Poland is operated within the framework of the National Agency for Academic Exchange. Its aim is to support international mobility and career development for researchers. These offers come from various national and international institutions and organizations from around the world and cover all fields of science.

Summer break in Evaluation of IDUB applications (Americium, Europium, Einsteinium)

IDUB programs

Due to the holiday break, the IDUB Office informs that applications submitted to the Americium, Einsteinium, and Europium programs between July 15th and August 31st will not be evaluated on their substantive content. Applications submitted during this period can be sent for formal assessment to the International Relations Office, but their substantive evaluation will resume after September 1st.
