– I would like to congratulate the deans-elect and I am very much looking forward to our future cooperation – said prof. Krzysztof Wilde, rector of Gdańsk Tech. – I am convinced that each of the nominees knows perfectly well that the position of dean comes with great responsibility, in which the most important elements are hard work for employees and students, as well as setting new directions for the development of a given faculty, and thus also the entire university.

– The uniqueness of our solution was based on adapting the ambiguity of the word star, i.e. a heavenly construct and a show business personality, into a representation. This Star was discovered by tireless yet rather reckless researchers who, due to the multitude of their research, led, as it later turned out, to the deliberate collapse of the star.

During the several-day hackathon, which will take place from September 9 to 14 in Katowice - the European City of Science, together with ambitious young scientists from all over Europe, you will be able to develop an innovative solution that can improve the quality of our lives. The winning team will receive a cash prize!

The Advanced Materials Center invites on the June 12th, 2024 at 10:15-12:00 AM to the Auditorium 1 (building WETI A) for the workshops on patenting of the inventions, which will be conducted by dr Justyna Pawłowska, titl. "We have developed a solution and we would like to patent it - what next?" (pol. "Opracowaliśmy rozwiązanie i chcielibyśmy je opatentować - co dalej?").
