EOSC projects
Skills4EOSC is funded by the European Commission Horizon Europe programme (GA 101058527). The project will set up a pan-European network of competence centres to speed up the training of European researchers and harmonise the training of new professional figures for scientific data management.
EOSC for Researchers
The EOSC EU Node services were launched in October 2024. It will provide a technical and administrative blueprint and interoperability framework for establishing other potential infrastructure node candidates.
EOSC for Librariers
Libraries are a crucial support for researchers when navigating access to scientific publications, data and services. One tool that supports the work of librarians is the EOSC Portal, a place that brings all of these items together within the EOSC Marketplace Resources, allowing them to be freely searched and accessed. For more information about the possibilities within the EOSC Portal, see the graphic below:
Gdańsk Tech University in EOSC
The Gdańsk University of Technology has been a member of the EOSC Association since September 2020. Over these several years, the following activities have been carried out within the EOSC structures:
Research and teaching. Two aspects of a doctoral student's scientific work
Sebastian Dziedziewicz is the author of the doctoral thesis entitled "Analysis of nonlinear eigenproblems for guides and resonance structures in optics and microwave technology." The thesis supervisor is prof. Rafał Lech from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics.
While writing his doctorate, the scientist developed a set of numerical tools to study the properties of waveguides and resonators in microwave and terahertz technology.
