Main Library and branches
The Gdańsk University of Technology Library consists of the Main Library and seven branches. Each location offers space for users to study and work.
Main Library:
The Main Library houses the Lending Room and Hall, the Main Reading Room, the Standards Reading Room and the Library Storage, which processes book orders placed via the online catalogue.

Something more than the spring solstice has happened to you? Apply for hardship scholarship!
The hardship scholarship is a benefit guaranteed by the Law on Higher Education and Science Act and you can receive up to PLN 2500 one-time (amount applicable in the 2023/2024 academic year).
There is no strict catalog of events that would entitle you to receive aid. If you're not sure whether you should apply for benefit, ask yourself a few questions:

Polish Scientific Conference NATURE 2024
The Polish Association of Young Scientists invites students, doctoral students and young scientists to take part in the National Conference.
The conference will be held online on May 24, 2024. Participants will have the opportunity to deliver a lecture or present a poster.

Young Researcher Picnic 2024

The second Young Researchers Day, under the auspices of the Rector of Gdańsk Tech prof. Krzysztof Wilde, which is part of the celebration of the 120th anniversary of Gdańsk University of Technology, will take place on June 27, 2024.

Pomeranian Fields of Hope 2024. Make your paper daffodil!
During the event, all necessary materials and instructions will be provided, allowing everyone to create their own beautiful flowers, which will be donated to the Pomeranian Hospice for Children as a gesture of support and solidarity.
Daffodils are the recognizable symbol of the "Fields of Hope" campaign, which takes place every spring initiated by hospices across Poland. Paper flowers are handed out by volunteers in exchange for donations placed in collection boxes. This year, the Pomeranian fundraising event will take place on April 14th.
