[4th-year PhD students] Doctoral scholarships for PhD students admitted for AY 2020/2021

Due to the fact that the PhD students admitted to the Doctoral School in the admissions for AY 2020/2021, and are currently in their 4th year of training, started their training with a one-month delay, that is, from November 2020, the scheduled date for completion of their training at the Doctoral School (according to the PhD Training Programme -  4 years) is October 2024. From the date of acquiring doctoral student status at the School and starting their training, these doctoral students also acquired the right to the doctoral scholarship.

From July 1st to July 8th, 2024, students, who received a place in the Student House (DS) for the academic year 2024/2025 in stages I and II, can submit application for a room via the PG Form.

From December 1 to December 31, 2023, rectors of universities and directors of institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, research institutes, international institutes or other heads of entities specified in Article 7 (1) of the Law on Higher Education and Science presented the Minister of Science a total of 1,708 applications for scholarships for outstanding young scientists demonstrating significant achievements in scientific activity.

New KRPUT authorities were elected at Gdańsk University of Technology

Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, rector of the Lodz University of Technology, took up the position of chairman of the Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities. From September he will replace prof. Teofil Jesionowski from the Poznań University of Technology. One of the vice-chairmen is once again prof. Krzysztof Wilde, Gdańsk Tech rector.  

The elections of new authorities took place during the KRPUT plenary meeting on 20 June at Gdańsk University of Technology. The candidacy of the new chairman received unanimous support. The following people were elected as vice-chairpersons: prof. Danuta Zawadzka, rector of the Koszalin University of Technology, prof. Krzysztof Wilde, rector of Gdańsk University of Technology and prof. Marek Pawełczyk, rector-elect of the Silesian University of Technology.
