New groundbreaking system for removal of contaminants in water
Researchers working together as part of the Polish-Norwegian consortium, including experts from Gdańsk University of Technology, plan to develop an intelligent remediation system for neutralization of harmful contaminants in water, based on carbon electrodes.  An energy-efficient system using artificial intelligence, which can be used to treat larger mass of sewage, e.g. in treatment plants. The system will be designed to enable oxidation of pollutants and a shorter waste disposal chain.

Within the scope of the international i-Clare project, at Gdańsk University of Technology managed by Robert Bogdanowicz, DSc(Eng), professor at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics, it is planned to develop a new digital water treatment technology that may allow cities to adapt better to climate change.

At the beginning of each new academic year, Gdańsk Tech International Relations Office invites newly admitted international students (Polish and English-speaking) to participate in two important events: the Registration Week and the Welcome Meeting. This year all the newcomers and students from other Gdańsk universities will additionally be able to take part in a free guided tour of Gdańsk and a parade inaugurating the beginning of the academic year.

Consulting for young scientists

The Careers Office invites young scientists, including PhD students, to individual consultations with a career advisor and an entrepreneurship advisor.
