Art. 187 - Act of 20 July 2018 The Law on Higher Education and Science
1. The doctoral dissertation demonstrates the candidate’s general theoretical knowledge in a discipline (or disciplines) and the ability to conduct research or artistic work independently.
2. The subject matter of the doctoral dissertation shall be an original solution to a scientific problem or in terms of the application of results of own scientific research in the economic or social sphere, or an original artistic achievement.
Teaching practice
The teaching practice load for AY. 2024/2025 in case of the disciplines conducted by the Faculty of Chemistry (WCh), the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics (WFTiMS), the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering (WEiA) and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology (WIMiO) has changed from 2024/2025. Mid-term evaluation
The implementation of the individual research plan is subject to mid-term evaluation in the middle of the training period specified in the training program. The exact timing of the mid-term evaluation shall be determined by the School Director and announced in the news.

Programme of study
Every PhD student performing PhD training at the Doctoral School can check the status of passing subjects on their account in the MojaPG system - Link to IT Service Center (CUI) instructions. At the same time, we would like to remind you that the status of passing subjects should be compared with the requirements described in the doctoral training programme.
