Poland My First Choice NAWA – apply now

Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) announces the call for applications for the Poland My First Choice NAWA program, which enables young people from developed countries to study at Polish universities (including Gdańsk University of Technology) with a scholarship. 

The Poland My First Choice program offers the opportunity to undertake full-time, second-cycle studies with a monthly NAWA scholarship. In addition, the programme will make it possible to study for free at public universities.

In accordance with the "Regulations supporting mobility abroad for the best doctoral students of the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology in the form of three-month and six-month NAWA internships, financed from the project funds STEERING TOWARDS  INTERNATIONALISATION OF THE DOCTORAL SCHOOL the Selection Committee awarded 5 six-month internships and 12 three-month internships on the basis of a competitive procedure.

Summer School at Gdańsk Tech - apply now (deadline: 12 June)

The Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics of Gdańsk Tech invites international students to the summer school on Multiscale Methods, organized within the ScienceApp project.

All Participants will receive a diploma certifying acquired skills and learning outcomes, and ECTS credits collected during the training that may be recognized by the home institution.

On the birthday of the famous scientist of Gdańsk, enrolment for the second edition of the Mayor of Gdańsk's Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit Scholarship Programme for international PhD students is starting!

Four Gdańsk Tech researchers among 100 outstanding young scientists

Mikolaj Nowak, PhD, Eng., Katarzyna Drozdowska, MSc. Eng. , Sabina Szymczak MSc. Eng., and Krzysztof Wołoszyk , PhD, Eng., have been awarded in the START scholarship program of the Foundation for Polish Science. FPS scholarship holders conduct research in the field of electrical engineering, electronics, economics and mechanics.

Scholarships are awarded to outstanding young scientists at the beginning of their scientific career, who have documented achievements in their field of research.

Scientists obtain funding under the MINIATURA competition

The National Science Center has published the first results of the seventh edition of the MINIATURA competition. Gdańsk University of Technology received the most – as many as five grants for research activities. All Gdańsk Tech winners represent the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Representatives of universities from around the world met in Valencia

Rectors' meeting
The 5th International Meeting of Rectors Universia, held in Valencia, gathered 700 rectors from 14 countries, representing 14 million students from Europe, the United States and Latin America. Representatives of 30 universities from Poland took part in the event. Gdańsk University of Technology was represented by prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz, vice-rector for organization and development.

The meeting, which took place on 8-10 May, was a unique forum for a debate under the slogan "University and society". The event was officially opened by Pedro Sánchez, Prime Minister of Spain, and Ana Botín, president of the Santander Group.
