We celebrate 15 years of Pomeranian Digital Library

On October 13–14, in the Main Building of Gdańsk University of Technology, the anniversary conference celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Pomeranian Digital Library took place under the title "Heritage in the Network: Digitization in the Era of Change".
The event gathered representatives of academic institutions, libraries, museums, and organizations that co-create and support the development of PBC – guests from Poland and abroad.

"Last week, I had the opportunity to once again visit Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, where I completed my participation in the ENHANCE+ program 'Train the Trainer – in the field of Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Innovation' after one year.

Gdańsk Tech among the best technical universities in Poland in the THE WUR 2026 ranking

The Gdańsk University of Technology has maintained its strong position in the prestigious international Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026, being placed in the 1001–1200 range globally. Gdańsk Tech ranked fifth nationally, which makes it occupy, just like last year, the number one spot among Polish technical universities, jointly with the AGH University of Krakow and the Silesian University of Technology.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE WUR) publishes results in the form of score bands. This is to protect sensitive university data and maintain comparative and statistical balance. In this year's ranking, the Gdańsk University of Technology is in the 32.1-35.4 band, which is a rise compared to the previous year (30.7-34.4 band).

Call for applications for the Titanium program (until 17.11.2025)

Technology Transfer Office invites researchers, PhD students and Gdańsk Tech students to apply for funding from the Titanium Program.

The main objectives of the Titanium Supporting International Patent Applications program are the implementation of mechanisms for the identification and protection of intellectual property on an international scale of valuable inventions developed at Gdańsk University of Technology.

Co-financing may be granted only for activities concerning inventions to which the University will be entitled - in whole or in part - to property rights, and the University is not subject to restrictions on the commercial use of the invention.

[PhD Students and Early-Career Researchers] ENHANCE Cross-Border Mentoring Programme

We encourage you to apply for the ENHANCE Cross-Border Mentoring Programme – an international initiative supporting early-stage researchers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

This one-year programme aims to foster research excellence, career development, and cross-border collaboration. Each mentee will be paired with an experienced mentor from another ENHANCE university, enabling personal growth, professional advancement, and international exchange of ideas.
