The Agency strives to strengthen scientific excellence, internationalize Polish universities and scientific institutions, as well as to promote Poland - its language and culture in order to build the image of a country offering interesting educational and research opportunities.
The position in the ranking depends on several factors, primarily the result of the secondary school-leaving exams and the successes of students of a given school in national and international subject Olympiads. In the case of technical secondary schools, the results of vocational exams are also taken into account, and in the case of bilingual schools - the result of the foreign language exam at the bilingual level.
