The Gdańsk Tech section of dragon boats invites everyone to trainings

Dragon Boats is a team water sport with its roots in Asian history. The modern sports boats are slightly smaller than the historical ones and can accommodate 22 people, including 20 rowers. The section of dragon boats at Gdańsk Tech invites all willing students to joint training and learning the secrets of group rowing.

1.2 million for Gdańsk Tech under the Science for Society program

A contract was concluded between Gdańsk University of Technology and the Minister of Education and Science for the implementation of the project entitled "Optimization of didactic and pro-innovation processes at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering". The international Baltic Windustry conference at Gdańsk Tech

Wind turbins
Registration for the international Baltic Windustry conference has started. The conference will take place on 8 September at Gdańsk University of Technology. This event is aimed at representatives of industry and science who carry out activities in the field of engineering and innovation.

The organizers are the Center for Offshore Wind Energy of Gdańsk University of Technology and the Polish Wind Energy Association.

QS World University Rankings – Gdańsk Tech with an even better result

QS ranking
In this year's edition of the ranking of the best universities from around the world, Gdańsk University of Technology for the fourth year in a row ranked in the range of 801-1000. Gdańsk Tech improved its result by 5 percent, placing itself in the TOP 57 percent of universities in the world included in the list.

This year's QS World University Rankings, presenting the best universities from around the world, covered 100 countries. There were 124 new participants in the ranking. A total of 2,462 universities were assessed and their inclusion in the ranking was considered, however, only 1,422 best universities were finally classified according to the ranking rules.

Second in-person ISEB visit to Gdańsk Tech

May 19–20 saw a second in-person visit to Gdańsk Tech of the International Scientific Effectiveness Board (ISEB) – a board appointed by the Rector in line with the IDUB project plan.

Taking part in person were: Prof. Francisco José Mora Más (former Rector of Universitat Politècnica de Valencia, ISEB Chairman), Marc Zolver (Vice-President for International Affairs, CentraleSupélec – part of Université Paris-Saclay), Prof. Roberto Zanino (Rector's Delegate for PhD Programs and International University Networks, Politecnico di Torino), and Prof. Sławomir Smoleń (Hochschule Bremen). The other ISEB members – Prof. Eugenijus Valatka (Rector, Kaunas University of Technology) and Prof.
