As part of the accreditation, members of the ACEEU Committee met with over sixty persons: research and administrative staff of the University, students, doctoral students, alumni and representatives of local government and business.

The meeting of representatives of the Polish defense industry - including representatives of the army, industry and the scientific community - began with a speech by Deputy Minister Marcin Ociepa (Ministry of National Defense), entitled "The world anew. Conclusions from the Russian aggression against Ukraine for Polish foreign and defense policy ”. In his speech the minister raised issues related to the current geopolitical situation and possible consequences for Poland, as well as for Europe and the world.

"This year is the 10th edition of the World Happiness Report, which uses data from global research, mainly the Gallup World Poll, to show how people in more than 150 countries around the world evaluate their lives. The first place - for the fifth time in a row - was taken by Finland, whose inhabitants have rated their quality of life the highest for many years.

In September, the university-wide project "Creating an emotional support system for the international students of Gdańsk University of Technology" (project marketing name: "Hey, are you OK?") was launched.

As part of this initiative, many activities in the field of well-being and communication have been planned for both Gdańsk Tech students and staff.

In accordance with the rector's decision and the introduction of the new regulations of the POLONIUM program, it will not be possible to extend the POLONIUM scholarship awarded to the winners of the competitions of AY. 2020/2021 and 2021/2022. Such persons, as doctoral students of higher years, will be able to apply for a scholarship under the FRANCIUM program, for which recruitment will also be announced soon.

We would like to kindly ask all PhD students of the Doctoral School to participate in a lecture conducted by Prof. Marek Wroński entitled: "Intellectual property law - Ethics in Science". The meeting will be held in MS Teams application, on 27.10.2022 at 13:15.

Attendance is obligatory.

The new version of ECTS Information Catalog was published with the beginning of the academic year 2022/2023.

The visualization of the system has been changed, which improves the access to selected courses, a clear range of subjects within the elective modules.

On this occasion, we express our appreciation to all the academic teachers and employees of Gdańsk University of Technology, who support the educational process through their daily work and wish them further success in teaching and research, unwavering enthusiasm in sharing knowledge, curiosity to meet new generations of their students and guide them through the world of science and research.

On October 6-7, 2022. Gdansk University of Technology was visited by the Assessment Committee of ACEEU (Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities).
