This is your chance to show how you see sustainability—at the university, in the city, or in everyday life. Create a short video (up to 60 seconds) and share your vision, inspiration, or idea for a greener future.

Attractive prizes await the best creators: Polaroid cameras, LEGO sets, board games, and Gdańsk Tech hoodies!
Every participant will receive a "Content Master" certificate, and a special surprise prize will go to the author of the most viral video.

Invitation to the WETPOL 2025 conference (submission of abstracts until 18.05)

We encourage our PhD Students to participate in the prestigious international conference WETPOL 2025 on September 7-11, 2025 , which for the first time will be held in Poland - at Gdańsk University of Technology. Topics include wetlands, water treatment and Nature-based Solutions.

Thanks to co-funding under the IDUB program (Carbonium project), PG students and PhD students can receive funding of up to 100% of the cost of participation. The prerequisite is the submission of an abstract by May 18, 2025 and the submission form.

Registration of Papers and Posters for the 5th Congress of Young Researchers

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 5th Congress of Young Science, we warmly invite you to participate in this year’s edition of the event, which will take place from July 17 to 19, 2025, at the University of Gdańsk.

Registration for individuals wishing to submit a paper or poster is open until June 18. This year, participants will have the opportunity to apply to a record-breaking number of 109 panels across various scientific disciplines.

Gdańsk Quantum Days – World-Renowned Scientists at Gdańsk University of Technology (10.05)

In celebration of the United Nations’ designation of 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, Gdańsk University of Technology, the National Centre for Quantum Information, and the International Centre for Theory of Quantum Technologies at the University of Gdańsk cordially invite all interested individuals to attend a series of public lectures delivered by internationally distinguished scholars.

As part of the XVI Symposium on Quantum Information, lectures will be held at Gdańsk University of Technology on Saturday, May 10, at 5:00 p.m. in the university’s main auditorium. The lectures will be presented by Professor Charles Bennett, a pioneer of quantum cryptography, and Professor Michael Berry, renowned for the discovery of the quantum phenomenon known as the Berry phase.

At the end of May, the PhD Students’ Self-government Council will hold an intercultural integration Cultural Day, during which people from Poland and abroad can present a substitute of their culture by sharing traditional dishes, costumes, music, and more.
