First Young Researchers Forum with the participation of PhD students of the Doctoral School at Gdańsk Tech

On April 11, 2025, the first Young Scientists Forum was held, organized by the Young Researchers Office at Gdańsk University of Technology. The event, led by Ph.D. Agnieszka Lendzion and M.Sc. Mateusz Glass, gathered many doctoral students from our School.

The forum became a space for open exchange of experiences and discussion around the challenges and needs of young researchers, in areas such as:

EU Support for Researchers – Tools and Platforms

The European Commission offers a range of initiatives and tools that support mobility, skills development, and career planning for researchers:
  • ERA Talent Platform – a new platform integrating various tools and services to support researchers,
  • ResearchComp – the European Competence Framework for Researchers, designed to support the development of transferable skills and to assist in career planning,

First Young Researchers Forum

The first Young Researchers Forum has been conducted on April 11 of 2025, which was held by Ph.D. Agnieszka Lendzion and MSc Mateusz Glass. Gdańsk Tech Ph.D. students took part in the meeting , to whom we are really appreciated for presence and engagement.  

The meeting was surrounded by an open and positive atmosphere, inspiring conversations and exchange of experiences. We worked in four thematic areas:   

  • digital and didactic competences, universal design and green transformation, 

  • academic entrepreneurship, research and design work,

Supporting mobility abroad for the best doctoral students – NAWA internships

We would like to inform you about the launch internship programme for the best doctoral students of our Doctoral School.

The competition offers 9 outgoing mobility grants to support internships abroad. All supported internships must start no earlier than July 1st, 2025 and end no later than November 30th, 2025. The minimum number of points to qualify for the mobility is 14 out of a possible 24 (60%).

The results will be announced on June 6th, 2025.

EURAXESS Poland is operated within the framework of the National Agency for Academic Exchange. Its aim is to support international mobility and career development for researchers. Each month, on the EURAXESS Poland website, you can find offers of grants and scholarships available to PhD students and academic staff. These offers come from various national and international institutions and organizations from around the world and cover all fields of science.
