Call for applications for the 2nd Francium Scholarship Competition Supporting Outstanding Doctoral Candidates

Program FRANCIUM stanowi element realizacji zadań programu IDUB, który ma na celu stymulowanie aktywności badawczej doktorantów Szkoły Doktorskiej na Politechnice Gdańskiej, a w szczególności ukierunkowanie tej aktywności na współpracę z jednostkami zagranicznymi. W ramach programu przyznawane są stypendia projakościowe wyróżniającym się uczestnikom Szkoły Doktorskiej, w szczególności doktorantom prowadzącym badania we współpracy międzynarodowej.

Scholarship recipients

Applications for the scholarship may be submitted by participants of the Doctoral School upon completion of their first year of training.

Funding conditions 

  • The pro-quality scientific scholarship in the Program is PLN 2,000 per month and is financed through the PG's own Scholarship Fund. 

Call for applications for the 2nd Polonium International Doctoral Fellowships

Polonium
The Polonium International Doctoral Fellowships program is an element of the implementation of the tasks of IDUB program in the scope of improvement of the quality of education of students and doctoral students, especially in fields and scientific disciplines related to the priority research areas (PRA) of the university, Measure III.2. The aim of the Polonium program is to increase the effectiveness of the university in attracting the most talented candidates from outside Poland to study at the PhD School at the Gdansk University of Technology.

Recipients of the scholarship

Applications for the supplementary scholarship may only be submitted by: 
a) foreigners,
b) people of Polish citizenship,

nternational Relations Office invites students and staff to a cinnamon-scented, singing and beautifully decorated Christmas meeting - International Christmas Tree (Wednesday, December 15th, at 11:00 a.m. next to Hydromechanika building no. 11).

On International Relation Office Facebook fanpage, you can find photos from the Christmas meeting, which took place in 2019 at the Fahrenheit Courtyard in the university’s Main Building. There was a Christmas tree, Santa Claus on a red bike, decorating gingerbread cookies together and… Christmas karaoke.

Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is a European Union programme which focuses on education, training courses, youth and sport. In the new financial perspective 2021-2027, the European Union has allocated 26.2 billion euros to the programme and is planning to involve 4 million people in it.

Direct neighborhood with the Gdańsk Tech campus, unique architectural and urban values, and above all the need for further, dynamic development of the university - these are the main reasons why Gdańsk University of Technology bought the building that formerly belonged to the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Gdańsk at 18 Sobieskiego Street in Gdańsk. The value of the transaction is PLN 24 million.

Direct neighborhood with the Gdańsk Tech campus, unique architectural and urban values, and above all the need for further, dynamic development of the university - these are the main reasons why Gdańsk University of Technology bought the building that formerly belonged to the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Gdańsk at 18 Sobieskiego Street in Gdańsk.
